Our second day on the island is a kind of expedition: we want to access the last guest-house of the island, where there is another beach. To get some energy, we savour chocolate and banana pancakes. DELICIOUS! 

 

We bring our best equipment with us: everything to snorkel and flip-flops: the perfect mix to walk through the jungle! From 'plankton beach', we dive into the forest. Our little tribe, at the beginning, walk in a single line, but soon finds itself separated: some of us stop to observe insects, plants or take pictures. It's really tropical in here, we feel that we are not in our environment. Besides, in the small path that we go down, we regularly cross huge ants colonies. These bugs create highways, which are better to avoid: the mandibles of the soldiers are just huge. I can tell so: I felt them, and I assure you this is not the most enjoyable thing to try! 

 

After a long walking journey, we finally arrive on this tiny beach. There's some sand, but also many trees and bamboo constructions, giving an overall warm feeling. Our rest is well deserved, so, BEER AND NAP. The music bewitches us, letting ourselves go... 

 

Kevin and clément walk adventure themselves further: they aim to find a well-known rock, from where it is possible to jump. During this time, we swim, and enjoy the seabed. There are not many fish because we are in the middle of the afternoon and the water has become hot. But a few corals and huge sea urchins are visible everywhere on the rocks. It is better not to put a foot on them! 

 

What else? We are feeling well! The evening is none other than food, drinks, and then again a night swim, which is less magical than the previous one: many boats are fishing off the coast with huge lights on their pontoons! Preventing the plankton to be clearly visible.
